The variety is able to grow and bear fruit far to the north from the generally accepted distribution area of the walnut. The mother tree was found in the vicinity of Bryansk. A characteristic feature is the powerful loading of the crop. The tree is compact, the crown is wide-pyramidal. Fruits weighing 12−13 g, perfectly executed. The core is amber in color with a unique nutty aroma. The value of the variety is in the increased content of biologically active iodine, which stabilizes the thyroid gland and the human immune system. The kernel yield exceeds 50%. The maturation period is medium-late. By the nature of flowering, it belongs to the group of proto-alexandric varieties.
